Background

After an initial degree and work experience in design, I trained as an art teacher, concentrating in specialist educational settings, working with children and young people with disabilities and severe behavioural problems. I have worked in the NHS in Children and Family Mental Health Services for over twenty years. During that time, I completed trainings in Psychoanalytic Couple Psychotherapy (2012) and in Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (2022) at Tavistock Relations. Membership includes the Association of Child Psychotherapists, and of the British Psychoanalytic Council. I also offer supervision.
